Registration is open now for our 2025 Town Hall Meeting on November 3. Follow the latest developments on our Town Hall event page. Here are all the reasons we'll want to be there!

It's an Impact Austin tradition! Town Hall Meeting has been an Impact Austin signature event since March, 2009. Until 2017, Impact Austin Town Hall Meetings were focused on our organization's internal matters - how to engage as a volunteer, how to get involved with grant review, how to join the Board of Directors, how to be a financially viable nonprofit, etc. But the 2017 Town Hall Meeting changed that pattern, bringing inspiration and philanthropy education to this Signature Event through 2020 and again in 2023. Keynote speakers and topics have included:

From 2019 to 2023, Town Hall featured grant awards, too. The Social Innovation Grant was awarded in 2019 and 2020, and that category became the Equity Grant for 2021-2023. Also awarded at 2021-2023 Town Halls Meetings were Health & Well-Being Grants.

You'll learn everything you need to know about our 2026 grant cycle - and GRC registration will open at Town Hall! Impact Austin's Grants team evaluates our grant program each year, carefully considering feedback from Community Partners, from the nonprofit community at large, and from our member surveys. What's new for 2026? If you're excited to join a 2026 Grant Review Committee (GRC), the updated registration portal will open that night. Register early to get your first-choice assignment.

Our Community Partner Panel will inspire you. Why does Impact Austin matter to our Partners in the current socio-economic environment? How do unrestricted grants help nonprofits? Nonprofit leaders from Latinitas, Magdalene House of Austin, and Friends of the Children Austin will join this Community Partner panel.

Hear the impact of past grants. We'll share Grant Outcomes Videos from Literacy Coalition of Central Texas, Friends of the Children Austin, Latinitas, and Magdalene House of Austin. How did our investment power their missions and programs?

It's a great opportunity to catch up on the business of Impact Austin. We just launched our new membership model. What is the feedback from members? How does a tiered model work within other collective giving groups? What else is coming up? Hear about Discovery Day and the Philanos Conference that Impact Austin will host.

Because your friends will be there - including some you haven't even met yet! The social hour from 5:00-6:00 will offer wine and wonderful nibbles, handshakes and hugs, friends and photos! Please be sure to capture photo memories with your committee, your friends, or the member you've just met! These help to tell Impact Austin's story on our website and social media. The very popular photo booth from Annual Meeting will be there, as will our photographer, capturing photos before and after the program.

It's a great opportunity to introduce a friend to Impact Austin! Help us broaden our reach to deepen our impact. Bring your friend or colleague to Town Hall. In one evening, she will understand the camaraderie among members, the value in collective giving, the amazing work of our Community Partners, and the value we place on our members. Bonus: if she joins by December 31, she'll build funds for 2026 grants and qualify for GRC service.

A central location and free parking. That might be enough right there! We're gathering at St. David's Episcopal Church at 301 E. 8th St.

Because of you! Everything we do starts and continues with our members. It's because of you that Impact Austin exists, that it has drawn 3,112 women to our collective giving, and that we have invested in 103 Central Texas nonprofits.

Town Hall registration is free for members, and guests are warmly welcome to register for a $10 fee. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to contact@impactaustin.org
