Members of Impact Austin’s Grant Review Committees (GRCs) have performed initial assessment on fall grant applications and have selected 11 semi-finalists for deep-dive review. Details on our grant review process was outlined in an earlier blog.
The Health and Well-being GRC narrowed down 39 grant applications to 6 applications for closer scrutiny. Members of the Equity GRC performed initial assessment on 8 grant applications and selected 5 for the next stage of consideration. The GRCs will form subcommittees to perform the deep dive review.
Those organizations moving forward in our process are listed below. Based on a review of all proposals, this list will be further narrowed during September 20-21. Three applicants from each GRC will be advanced to site visits October 7-9. Voting instructions will be emailed to members in early November. Grants totaling $226,200 will be awarded November 16
Congratulations to our area nonprofits that are progressing through the grant process.
