Impact Austin Announces FY 2026 Board and Thanks Retiring Directors

The Board of Impact Austin thanks to these valued directors whose terms end as FY 2025 concludes. Heartfelt applause goes to Simone Talma Flowers, Katherine Mudge,

Tracey Nelson, and Marty Swanger. We salute their collective years of leadership, both on the board and in the organization as a whole.

We're proud to announce the leaders of our FY 2026 Board of Directors. This talented and experienced group of members brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight that will help guide our organization into the next phase of growth and innovation.

New Board Members - Welcome!


Rebecca Birch - A member of Impact Austin since 2021, Rebecca is co-chair of Girls Giving Grants, has chaired the DEIB Committee, and has participated in Impact Austin's grant review committees (GRCs). Rebecca currently works at Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as the Director of State Policy & Advocacy. She serves as a founder and volunteer for the Far East Austin Community Development Corporation, which serves as a catalyst for change in the Hornsby Bend Community.  Rebecca also previously served as a Del Valle ISD Trustee

(12 yrs) and Board President (8 yrs).  



Gloria Hughes - Also an Impact Austin member since 2021, Gloria has served on a GRC and subsequently co-chaired two other GRCs. Recently, she hosted a Membership Info Social that brought in several new members. Gloria also serves on the DEIB Committee. She brings her personal and cultural interests to the organization through her corporate background and volunteer experience. In addition to being an avid tennis player, Gloria is currently a member of her community's HOA Board of Directors, is a member of the Hill Country Region (HCR) Porsche Club, and is a volunteer on the club's magazine production team. 



Erin McCord - With fifteen years of nonprofit experience, specializing in event management, marketing, and communications, Erin served as an event consultant for Impact Austin from February 2022 to May 2023, planning three Signature Events and multiple membership recruitment events. Erin joined Impact Austin in 2022, participating in five GRCs, including twice as a co-chair. Her business, Erin McCord Consulting, was also a sponsor of our 2024 and 2025 Annual Meetings. 




Jerrica Deloney Witte - Since joining Impact Austin in 2022, Jerrica has served on several GRCs and is an active member of the DEIB Committee. Previously, Jerrica facilitated a Discovery Day session and produced events as part of the Learning committee. Jerrica now serves as a GRC Coordinator working behind the scenes  to prepare and guide committees through the grant review cycle, including the transition to unrestricted funding. Jerrica is an experienced technologist and nonprofit program director, who transitioned to tech to help advance grant and case management software tools.
