GRCs Begin Deep-Dive Review of Grant Applications
Impact Austin Grant Review Committees (GRCs) advanced their review process to intensive review of 12 applications for $188,600 in funding.

26 members, plus two co-chairs and one advisor, narrowed a field of 21 initial applicants to six for deep dive review in subcommittees. The applications moving forward are:

Yellow Bike Project - Ride to The Future
Multicultural Refugee Coalition - Supporting Refugee Women through MRC Open Arms Studio
The SAFE Alliance - Youth Housing Navigation: Ending Youth Homelessness
Friends of the Children - Austin - Expansion of Long-term, Wraparound Mentorship Program for Children
Central Texas Table of Grace - Grace365: Supervised Independent Living

PEAS (Partners for Education, Agriculture, and Sustainability) - Growing Roots and Pathways of Outdoor and Edible Education
Thinkery - Open Door Partnership with Del Valle ISD
During our June 6 Annual Meeting, Impact Austin will award a total of $188,600 across both focus areas. Two finalists will have been selected in each focus area and voted upon electronically by the membership. The finalist in each focus area receiving the majority votes will be awarded a restricted grant of $75,500 (for the purpose proposed in their grant application) and the other finalist will be awarded an unrestricted grant of $18,800.
The Fall Grant cycle will kick off in late June with a Nonprofit Workshop. Grant applications will open July 8 for the focus areas of Equity and Health & Well-Being. Registration for Fall Grant Review Committees will open on the same date.
