Impact Austin grant season is busily underway! The application period closed, Grant Review Committees (GRCs) have formed, and trainings are now offered, both in person and online.
The Social Innovation Grant (SIG) was awarded November 6. From 18 applications, two finalists were presented to the membership at our Annual Meeting, and the collaboration presenting The Innocence Initiative was awarded our $110,000 grant. Thanks to the 23 GRC members, chairs, and advisors who launched this first grant! Read more.
#GirlsGivingGrants (g3) furthered our grantmaking season in a big way. Their largest class to date will award their largest grant ever in 2020 - $10,300. The g3 team received 36 applications for funding, and they’ve already narrowed their focus to 8 semi-finalists for deeper review. Find out more about their work in this blog.
