Austin’s Mayor Steve Adler and City Council Member Alison Alter (also an Impact Austin member!) welcomed us to the chambers with wit and warmth.
Impact Austin’s interim Executive Director, Lisa Apfelberg, thanked everyone for their support and began the Check Ceremony that members look forward to each year. $80,600 grants were awarded to five Austin nonprofits who had submitted competitive applications, hosted site visits, and impressed hundreds of Impact Austin members at the June 5th Annual Meeting.
