Katherine has BA Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. She is an attorney focusing her practice on regulatory, legislative and business issues facing providers of telecommunications, broadband, cable, wireless and electric utility services. 

Her professional and community activities include the Austin Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Communications Bar Association. She is also a youth sports coach and High Five Events triathlete.
